Howdy family, Here is the dilemma as I see it. First>>>I'm doing just what we don't want to do (OK I'll post this on the web ). 1. Everyone who is on the mailing list is a member of the ZONE. 2. Decisions by consensus take more discussion than simple majority votes. Consensus exists when each member of the group can say:             a. I have had the opportunity to voice my opinions.             b. I believe the group has heard me.             c. I can actively support the group’s decision as the best possible action at this time, even if it is not my first choice.   3. It seems we do not go to the web page to "see what's going on". 4. our discussions MORPH as we go.   Notice I placed my original post about the Detroit meeting on the MZF website and received no replies until I emailed it to everyone. Things that make you go Hummmmmm? We all would like to have less to read AND we want to know what is going on in the Zone. Is hitting the delete button that  hard? To make decisions with consensus there is more discussion needed than usual (pro/con). And we are ALL part of the Zone. Ideally the web is where it could take place but in reality I have a hard time believing we will work that way, it has not worked that way so far. What Mike said has been discussed a few times in our face to face meetings, that is "where we should discuss topics" . I can hear it now when (and IF) all the discussion goes to the web, members will complain "they didn't know about it"!? Also, our topics morph from one to another it will be fun keeping up with the thread. We  may not sub or change the heading each time the discussion changes. By the way how should the decisions be documented for the archives?  Just saying... Any thoughts?  (Big-Grin) (((hugs))) John H
