Hello Family, with the response recieved, we will move forward on the Michigan Region hosting the MZF. It looks like  Saturday, March 12th is a good date to try and make it work. This is the Saturday before our Area meets the next day here in Washtenaw. (Ann Arbor, Mi.) I think 4-6 Hours for our Meeting and maybe putting on a Workshop that evening would be a good time and place to start some discussion. We have plenty of time, but with the Holidays coming up, I would like to get a start on it now. I don't think this was a good date for one of the replys, but it's just a starting point, we could do it the week before or after. Please let me know if 4-6 hours is enough, and if any one is willing to facilitate a workshop on where we're at on the Service System Project at that time. ILS. Les P.

PS. Our Activities Chair is talking about maybe having a speaker jam that evening, with Zonal participants as the main speakers. Be prepared to be asked to speak.

I just recieved news that the 12th wasn't available but the 19th was. So we're going with that.

The most recent information puts this MZF meeting on the same weekend as our Wisconson RSC once again.  It is difficult enough to serve the Wisconsin Region when we (the Delegate Team) can attend the RSC regularly.  But this will be the third time in 4 RSC cycles that the Midwest Zonal Forum has scheduled its meeting on our RSC weekend.  Since I have not yet seen the minutes of the lat MZF meeting, I cannot deduce any need for this meeting.  Please enlighten me.  What is its purpose?  What will it serve?  What is its meaning?  What makes it worth my Region spending $600 to attend?

Is this trip really necessary?

In Service,

Bill O.
